Intake Session

$200

An intake psychotherapy session is the first meeting between you and your therapist. Its primary purpose is to gather information about you and your mental health concerns. During this session, the therapist will ask a variety of questions to understand your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy.

Here’s what you can typically expect:

  1. Personal Information: You will provide basic details such as your name, age, relationship status, and occupation.

  2. Reason for Seeking Therapy: The therapist will ask why you decided to seek help and what specific issues you are facing.

  3. Personal History: Questions may cover your medical history, any past experiences with therapy, family background, and significant life events that may impact your mental health.

  4. Current Symptoms: You will be asked about any current feelings, behavior patterns, or symptoms affecting your day-to-day life.

  5. Goals for Therapy: Discuss what you hope to achieve through therapy, whether it’s coping with anxiety, improving relationships, or managing stress.

  6. Confidentiality and Consent: The therapist will explain the confidentiality of your sessions and obtain consent to proceed.

The session typically lasts between 45 to 90 minutes. It's a chance for you to get comfortable with your therapist and learn how they can support you. Remember, this is a safe space, and your openness will help guide the therapeutic process moving forward.

Individual Session

$200

Individual psychotherapy is a one-on-one session between you and a trained mental health professional. The primary goal is to provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. During these sessions, your therapist will listen to you without judgment and help you gain insight into your challenges.

Typically, each session lasts about 50 minutes. At the beginning, you may discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and your goals for treatment. The therapist may ask questions to better understand your situation and may suggest different therapeutic techniques that could be beneficial.

As you progress through therapy, you and your therapist will work collaboratively to identify patterns in your thinking and behavior, develop coping strategies, and process any difficult emotions. The therapist may also teach you new skills to help manage stress, anxiety, or other issues.

It's important to remember that therapy is a process, and changes may take time. Regular attendance and active participation are key to making the most of your sessions. Ultimately, the goal of individual psychotherapy is to support you in achieving greater self-awareness, improved emotional well-being, and a more fulfilling life.

$250

Couple's therapy sessions are structured meetings where partners can address their relationship challenges with the guidance of a trained therapist. The primary goal is to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and deepen emotional connection.

During these sessions, both partners are encouraged to share their feelings and perspectives in a safe environment. The therapist facilitates discussions, helping each person express their thoughts without interruption and promoting mutual understanding.

Therapy may involve discussing past experiences, identifying patterns in behavior, and exploring each partner's needs and desires. The therapist may introduce specific techniques or exercises to enhance communication skills and foster empathy.

Sessions typically last about 50 minutes to an hour and occur weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the couple's needs. The process is collaborative, with both partners actively participating in finding solutions and creating a healthier dynamic. It's important to approach this journey with an open mind and commitment to growth.

Family Sessions

Couple’s Sessions

$250

Family psychotherapy sessions are structured meetings where a trained therapist works with families to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance relationships. These sessions typically involve all family members and focus on understanding the dynamics within the family system.

During these sessions, each member is encouraged to express their thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment. The therapist guides discussions, helping the family explore the underlying issues contributing to misunderstandings or conflicts.

Sessions may include various therapeutic approaches, such as role-playing, problem-solving exercises, and structured communication techniques. The goal is to foster a deeper understanding among family members, promote empathy, and develop healthier ways of interacting with one another.

Family therapy may also address specific issues such as parenting challenges, grief, or behavioral problems in children. The therapist may assign tasks or homework to help reinforce what is discussed during the sessions and encourage ongoing growth outside of therapy.

Overall, family psychotherapy aims to create a stronger, more cohesive family unit by improving communication patterns and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner.

Group Session

$70

Group psychotherapy sessions involve a small group of individuals who meet regularly with a trained therapist to discuss various personal issues, share experiences, and support one another. Each session typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes and is structured to encourage openness and confidentiality among participants.

In these sessions, you will engage in discussions about your thoughts, feelings, and challenges while also listening to the experiences of others. This shared environment fosters a sense of community and can help you realize you are not alone in your struggles. The therapist facilitates the conversation, guiding participants and ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere.

Group psychotherapy can be beneficial for a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and more. Participants can gain different perspectives, learn coping strategies, and develop social skills by interacting with others facing similar challenges. Additionally, feedback from peers can enhance your self-awareness and provide insights that individual therapy might not offer.

It's important to remember that participation is voluntary, and you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. The ultimate goal is to create a supportive space where everyone can grow and heal together.

Child Therapy Information

Child therapy services provide a supportive environment for children facing emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. These services are designed to help children understand and express their feelings, learn coping strategies, and improve their social skills.

Therapists trained in child psychology use various techniques tailored to a child’s age and needs. This may include play therapy, art therapy, or talk therapy, all of which aim to facilitate communication in a way that is comfortable and engaging for the child.

Sessions typically involve the child working one-on-one with a therapist, where they can explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe space. Parents may also be involved to provide support and reinforce strategies discussed in therapy.

Children 11 years old and younger, parents may be required to attend and/or participate in sessions jointly and separate from the minor. Minimally, parents/guardians will be required to attend 1 session per month with therapist to discuss behaviors, improvements, setback, progress and new behaviors.

The ultimate goal of child therapy is to promote emotional well-being, enhance resilience, and help children develop the skills necessary to overcome challenges they may face. By addressing issues early on, child therapy can lead to positive long-term outcomes for the child’s mental health and overall development.

Adolescent psychotherapy is a form of mental health treatment designed specifically for young people, typically between the ages of 12 and 18. It provides a safe and supportive environment where adolescents can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

In therapy, teens work with a trained mental health professional who understands the unique challenges they face, such as peer pressure, academic stress, family dynamics, and identity issues. The therapist helps them develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and navigate difficult emotions.

Sessions may involve talking, creative activities, or role-playing, depending on what feels comfortable for the adolescent. The goal is to encourage self-reflection, promote personal growth, and foster resilience.

Parents/guardians participate as much or as little as the youth prefers and requires a release of information on file. If release of information is on file, parents/guardians can attend and/or participate in sessions jointly and separate from the minor. If release is on file, they will be able to attend at least 1 session per month with therapist to discuss behaviors, improvements, setback, progress and new behaviors.

Adolescent psychotherapy can address a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and relationship issues. By engaging in this process, young people can learn to manage their challenges more effectively, communicate better, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
